PLAYFUL CITY EXPERIENCES
Bring people and play into one of Melbourne’s most iconic places.
Project Synthesis produced a week-long initiative, titled Playful City Experience, which saw key cultural institutions and schools come together in the pursuit of play. Throughout the week, students played theatrical games at Federation Square, explored hidden corners of Melbourne city, engaged with community services, and learnt about the city’s history and architecture. Supported through social media and multimedia, this was a unique gamified learning experience for students.
Collaborators on this project include ACMI (formerly Australian Centre for the Moving Image), Federation Square, Immigration Museum and Uniting.
