Language Learning Space is designed for the teaching and learning of the Chinese language through curriculum-aligned resources.
Project Synthesis led the design of this web-based narrative learning experience which targeted the development of the four key skills required to learn the Chinese language – listening, reading, speaking and writing. Presented through a multi-modal media approach including comics, video, images and text, the students can experience everyday situations in Chinese through listening and reading. They are then supported to practice and demonstrate their understanding through simple interactive and engaging learning games.
This project was developed in partnership with the University of Melbourne Graduate School of Education, Education Services Australia and in collaboration with the Chinese Teacher Training Centre.
