MIXED DOZEN

Mixed Dozen is community-centric initiative building and nurturing connection through playful meal making.

Project Synthesis undertook a participatory approach to engage neighbourhoods and community groups in meal preparation and conversations around food, co-facilitated with a fictious character named the ‘Baker’. Underpinned by a communal table approach, because of the findings from the participation, Mixed Dozen then evolved into the production of a self-titled handbook to support spirited and connected meal making, and a micro grants program.

Collaborators on this project include Uniting and CERES Fair Food.
