EWF DIGITAL

A festival dedicated to exploring when technology and storytelling collide and how they influence each other.

With support, Project Synthesis co-produced Australia’s first ever completely virtual writers’ festival, EWF Digital (now known as Digital Writers’ Festival). The event hosted writers’ from around the world and focused on the themes of writing, storytelling and journalism, and how they exist in online environments. Using video, social media and innovative hypertextual design, a wholly digital and screen-based experience was created for this event.

This project was developed under the guidance of Lisa Dempster and in collaboration with Emerging Writers’ Festival.
